Governor of Nayarit welcomes hotel project

Last Friday, the state governor, Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero, welcomed the hotel project called NIA Riviera Nayarit, which will have an investment of 30 billion pesos over the next eight years and will generate 6,500 direct jobs and 10,600 indirect jobs.

NIA Riviera Nayarit will generate economic and social development in the entity, which could not be achieved without the levels of security in various aspects that the state has, it was specified in this event where the first stone was laid to start the ambitious development.

Dr. Navarro Quintero invited those present to join the Nuevo Nayarit that goes for the progress of each of its municipalities, due to the tourist diversity that it offers.

For his part, the founding partner and general director of Artha Capital, Carlos Gutiérrez Andreassen, specified how NIA Riviera Nayarit will be integrated with the Nayarit communities, but also explained why the state was chosen to develop this important project, pointing out the benefits it offers.

He added that "people are looking for quality of life and they will find it here" and announced that with NIA Riviera Nayarit, the entity will be a benchmark in tourism and world-class hotels.

The event was attended by state, federal and municipal authorities, as well as national and foreign investors and businessmen.

PERSONAL OPINION

The tourism industry has always represented an important source of income for our country, so from my point of view investing in this area is a safe decision that can bring with it many benefits that include the generation of jobs and the improvement in the quality of life of the inhabitants of the area.

It seems to me that we are talking about an extremely ambitious project that we must keep in track, since the idea and the entire presentation were very good, but we must wait to see the results to be able to generate a real opinion. Although I understand that the projection is designed for 8 years, and that therefore we must wait a long time to see the results, it is well known that in many governments over the years, projects end up stalling and wasting money more than reversing it.

Nayarit is a very beautiful state, with beautiful landscapes and is also full of culture and traditions. Therefore, this project, if applied correctly, will only be a boost to improve the potential of this place. I firmly believe that this situation will generate economic growth and that, furthermore, the people involved will try not to harm the landscape or the area as such.

   POST 6- NEWS  The news talks about the intention of officials in Baja California about building a large, desalination plant in a beach town near Tijuana. In 2016, state officials finalized a plan only to shelve it four years later, citing its high cost. The energy-intensive technology works by removing impurities from seawater.
