Investors continue to bet on Mazatlan, new cargo airport to be built

The piece of news says that the Mayor Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres announced that a group of businessmen will invest 800 million dollars in a cargo airport for Mazatlan because they realized that Mazatlán is a place that is having a good economic development, it is expected that money will be invested and its construction will begin in 2023. One of the main characteristics of these airports is that they are oriented to market niches, such as low-cost cargo operations and service to integrating companies.  

According to the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT), the most important cargo airports in the country are those of Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toluca, and Cancun.  

Continuing with the issue of private investments, the municipal president announced that for the remainder of 2022 and for the beginning of 2023, at least 21 billion in private investment will come to Mazatlán, which means that in just one year of this administration the figure of 43 billion pesos will be exceeded.

I believe that investment is the engine of the economy, not only it helps companies grow, but it facilitates the creation of companies, thus attracting new investment from other countries and also investing in research and development, we could have a knowledge economy in which millions of Mexicans can participate.In addition, it is important for the government to invest in infrastructure projects that are viable and profitable in the short and long term to ensure the economic growth of the country.

Will Baja California ever build a desalination plant?
