Regularization of foreign vehicles exceeds the goal set in Sinaloa

The regularization of foreign vehicles in Sinaloa, whose goal was 50 thousand vehicles, has already been exceeded in the state, informed the Secretary General of the Government, Enrique Inzunza Cázarez.

“Originally, a figure of 50,000 vehicles was planned to be regularized, this figure has already been reached and exceeded. As of October 21, there are 50,261 regularized and registered vehicles as part of this process. This has meant a collection of 87.9 million pesos, for what concerns the state and 125.6 million pesos collected for what concerns the federal ”, specified the Secretary-General.

Governor Rocha Moya pointed out that this week the agreement will be signed with the Federal Government so that the resource collected in this area can be applied for public works in the 18 municipalities of the state, which registers an advance of 24 works projects registered until the moment, equivalent to an investment of 74 million pesos.

Personal opinion
These kind of actions are so much benefical for the citizens of Sinaloa and also for the whole northwest area in general because, with the investment of the money in public projects, the state will become more attractive for investment, tourism and in general the flow of the economy in that region.

Will Baja California ever build a desalination plant?

   POST 6- NEWS  The news talks about the intention of officials in Baja California about building a large, desalination plant in a beach town near Tijuana. In 2016, state officials finalized a plan only to shelve it four years later, citing its high cost. The energy-intensive technology works by removing impurities from seawater. Roberto Salmón also helped to oversee U.S.-Mexico treaties on borders and rivers as Mexico’s representative to the International Boundary and Water Commission between 2009 and 2020.
