The news was about the "Puerto Nayarit Corredor del Norte" will be placed on December 9, in a protocol act headed by the state governor, Miguel Ángel Navarro, an infrastructure development, this new port would generate among its peers on the Mexican Pacific side a complement and an option for the relief of operations in the port of Manzanillo, which in recent months has suffered from logistical collapses.

Regarding the commercial opportunities that are observed, Ocampo López considered that the port would represent an entry and exit option for the technology industry that has settled in the state of Jalisco, in addition to the agri-food sector. Likewise, he invited logistics service companies to visit the state and learn about future opportunities that will arise with the development of the port.

In my opinion, commercial ports are key infrastructures for the development of a territory, they represent a door to the world for sending and receiving a wide variety of merchandise, contributing to the wealth and commercial activity of the territory that is part of their area. of influence, due to its connectivity with other ports worldwide through the different maritime routes, the ports are integrated into all the regions of the planet, which will make this region one of the most important in the logistics sector.
